Our Miniature Horse Interactions are the Main attraction at Meet the Minis
While we do aim this for the younger ones, people of all ages will enjoy time spent at Meet the Minis.
Play Time with the Minis
Available 10:00-14:40
Playtime with the minis gives you time to relax and enjoy being surrounded by miniature horses. You can wander about between the horses, brush some, get cuddles and selfies with the foals (baby horses), and dress up the adult horses.
This also gives you a good opportunity to hang out with the donkeys.
Mini walk & Obstacles
Available 11:00 & 14:00
The mini walk & obstacle course is about 30 minutes in duration. You each get assigned a mini horse to lead, and after a short safety briefing, you head to our cross country jumping course to try with your mini.
If all have energy, you may also choose to take an extra walk or run around in our large veld.
“Pony Rides”
1hr sessions Available @ 10:00 & 13:00
All rides are done with a handler walking and controlling the horse – thus known as “PONY RIDES”.
We have 2 options which will depend on the horses and handlers for the day.
- Our regular riding horses who can take up to 65kgs and 17yrs old,
- Our Percherons who can take all ages and up to 100kgs.
There is no age limit for “Pony Rides”. As long as a person can hold themselves upright on the horse, they should be fine to ride.
Our “Pony Ride” sessions last 1 hour and we charge only once for Pony Rides, the guest may choose to do only one +- 5 minute ride, or multiple rides at no additional charge, as long as all guests who wish to ride get a chance.
