2 Hour Basic Trail Ride - R300pp
Our basic, and most popular trail ride is a 2hr trail ride.
Arriving at our Meet the Minis venue, riders are assigned a horse and helped to find a helmet. We then help riders mount up and go over basic Safety Instructions.
Then we head off on the trail.
If our group consists of beginners, we'll keep the pace at a safe and relaxed walk all the way. If its a more experienced group, depending on the ability you show you can handle, we may include some trotting where safe, and perhaps even a short canter.
After a delightful outing, we return to the Meet the Minis venue to dismount. After your ride, you may choose to stick around and enjoy a cup of coffee or cooldrink from our little cafe.
Each rider on our basic 2hr ride should bring along a light/small backpack with a rain jacket and a bottle of water of themselves.
3.5 Hour Trail Ride with Picnic - R500pp
Similar to the above option, arriving at our Meet the Minis venue, riders are assigned a horse and helped to find a helmet. We then help riders mount up and go over basic Safety Instructions.
Then we head off on the trail.
Unlike the 2hr Basic Trail Ride, this is somewhat longer in length, and we have a vehicle accompaniment that comes along with a delightful catered picnic to enjoy at our halfway mark.
If our group consists of beginners, we'll keep the pace at a safe and relaxed walk all the way. If its a more experienced group, depending on the ability you show you can handle, we may include some trotting where safe, and perhaps even a short canter.
This is a perfect option for special events or celebrations.
