Entrance fee for Meet the Minis (all activities excluding "Pony Rides") is R65pp

What does each activity entail?

Play time with the Minis

Available 10:30-14:00
"Playtime with the minis" gives you time to relax and enjoy being surrounded by miniature horses. You can wander about between the horses, brush some, get cuddles and selfies with the foals (baby horses), and dress up the adult horses. This also gives you a good
opportunity to hang out with the donkeys.

“Pony Rides”

1hr sessions Available @ 10:00 & 13:00
All rides are done with a handler walking and controlling the horse - thus known as “PONY RIDES”.

The "PONY RIDES" are approximately 5 minutes in duration, but as long as each person gets a turn, guests may go multiple times during the 1hr session that the horses are available for Pony Rides.

Riding on the Miniature Horses is limited to under 15kg and under 2yrs old. Parent MUST hold child at all times! For those over 15kgs, we have 2 options which will depend on the horses and handlers for the day. Our Arabians who can take up to 65kgs and 17yrs
old, or our Percheron who can take all ages and up to 100kgs.

 

Mini walk & Obstacles

Available 14:00 only
The mini walk & obstacle course is about 30 minutes in duration. You each get assigned a mini horse to lead, and after a short safety briefing, you head to our cross country jumping course to try with your mini. If all have energy, you may also choose to take an extra walk or run around in our large veld.

 

 

Mini Run & Barn Tour

Barn Tour available @ 09:00 & +-15:30

The mini run is a fun experience where guests watch the herd run up from the paddocks to barn for dinner. The guided barn tour takes you through the barn, learning about various breeds, how the horses live and getting to meet the bigger horses.
